What the panel shows the moment it opens, before anybody has signed in to anything.

• The day’s largest gainers, largest losers, and most-traded names.
• Headlines from Artha’s newswire.
• The exchange’s own market status. Never a clock calculation, which reports “Open” on a trading holiday.

Added to the same panel once you connect an Artha account. It never replaces the market block.

• What the portfolio is worth, and what it made or lost today.
• Your largest positions, by value.
• Nothing at all if you have not connected a broker — that is a normal state, not an error, and the panel says so.

An extension asks for permissions once, in a dialog most people approve without reading. These are the boundaries this one is built inside, written so they can be checked against the manifest rather than taken on trust.

It reads no page you visit

It asks for access to two hosts only: arthaterminal.com, and the Supabase host that signs you in. It holds no permission for any other website, it injects no script anywhere, and it never records the address of a page you are on.

It cannot place an order

Every call it makes is read-only. There is no order path in the extension and none in the interface it reads through.

It never sees a password

Signing in happens on arthaterminal.com, in a window Chrome opens. The extension receives a token afterwards and never the credential.

You can revoke it

The access it holds is listed in your Artha settings and can be withdrawn there. It stops working on the next request.

It holds no broker credential

Broker credentials stay on Artha and are never handed to the extension, in any form.

The extension is the smallest of the interfaces Artha publishes over its own data. The MCP servers let an assistant read your account or Artha’s documentation, and the skills teach any assistant how Indian market data works. This one simply keeps the market on screen.
